The Last Heat Protectant I'll Ever Use

I cannot stress enough how important it is to use a heat protectant on your hair when applying any sort of heat to it. There are so many out there to choose from (and I've probably tried them all!) and Catwalk by TIGI Sleek Mystique Haute Iron Spray is by far the best.

I purchased the 6oz spray can from my favorite stylist (Katey Sparks at B&G House of Style in Kennewick, WA...she's amazing!) after she used it on my hair while styling it. I could not believe the beautiful shine it gave my hair without feeling greasy or weighed down. My hair also felt so soft, I could hardly believe it was my own! The scent is a little perfumey, but not too bad. It kind of smells like Juicy Couture perfume.

Be careful not to use too much of this product on your hair or it will look and feel greasy. Use a light hand because a little goes a long way. I like to spray a light mist on my hair before blow drying it and again on each section of hair as I flat iron it. I have very thick hair with medium frizz and Sleek Mystique works magic on it. It makes my ends look great, too.

I cannot reccommend this product enough! You can find TIGI products at stores like Target and Fred Meyer, but the products they carry are limited and I have not found the Sleek Mystique collection anywhere other than my trusted and accredited salon (which is where you should buy them anyway!). You can expect to pay around $14-18 for the 6oz spray can and it should last you one to three months, depending on how often you heat style your hair.
